FAQ

Galileo (satellite navigation)

The European navigation system Galileo will start probably at the end of 2016 and will become full operational capability (FOC) in 2020. Our Navilock u-blox 8 receivers support Galileo since the firmware version 3.01.

The new GNSS system requires the version 4.1 of the NMEA 0183 protocol. The evaluation software uCenter displays the Galileo satellites.
